Nokia Lumia 925 Coming to AT&T for $99 On Contract

The Nokia Lumia 925 is one of the high-end Lumia devices. Currently, the device is only available on T-Mobile but it seems as if this will change very soon. A new rumor suggests that AT&T will launch the much-anticipated Nokia Lumia 925 for its customers in mid-September, according to trusted sources of WPCentral. Reportedly, the device will go on sale for $99 on-contract and will be available in black color only.

Currently, Lumia 920 will continue to be sold as AT&T exclusive along with Lumia 925. WPCentral’s sources suggest that the 16GB variant of the device will go on sale in mid-September with a $99 price tag. Interestingly, the rumor mentioned that the price of the Lumia 920 will fall from $99 to $49 on-contract, and if you take a look at AT&T’s website, Lumia 920 is now down to $49. Does this mean we will see a new Lumia device on AT&T?
The device features a 4.5-inch AMOLED display with 768 x 1280 resolution, 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB onboard storage, 2,000 mAh batter and runs Windows Phone 8 on top of it. The device also features a 8.7MP rear-camera that is capable of taking excellent photos in low-light and 1.2MP front shooter.
AT&T already carries three Nokia Lumai models: Lumia 520, Lumia 920 and the recently launch Lumia 1020. With Lumia 925 in its portfolio, the carrier will have a decent Windows Phone lineup ranging from high-end to low-end devices.
There is no official word from AT&T about this but if the launch is scheduled in mid-September, we will see a confirmation from the carrier anytime now. Stay tuned as we will share with you once we have more information about this rumor.
